Elcom Systems, Ltd. Signs On As Gold Sponsor for HIGPA's
2002 Global Summit on Health Care Purchasing and Supply

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 4, 2002) - The Health Industry Group Purchasing Association (HIGPA) is pleased to announced that Elcom Systems, Ltd., a Berkshire, England-based information technology company, will serve as Gold Sponsor for HIGPA's 2002 Global Summit on Health Care Purchasing and Supply, to be held May 6 - 7, 2002 at the Grand Amsterdam Hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Elcom Systems, Ltd., offers corporate, institutional and governmental organizations a wide choice of best-of-breed IT brands, a high quality supply and configuration capability and the associated economies of scale that attach to high volume throughput.

"HIGPA is pleased that Elcom has chosen to sponsor the 2002 Global Summit on Health Care Purchasing & Supply," said HIGPA President & CEO Robert Betz, Ph.D. "With the generous financial support of sponsors like Elcom, HIGPA is able to ensure that Global Summit attendees will gain valuable and action orientated knowledge about innovative manners to deliver the highest quality of health care to the greatest number of patients."

The 2002 Global Summit on Health Care Purchasing & Supply will bring leading minds in the non-labor sectors of health care from various countries together to discuss in-depth different models and strategies for approaching a common goal: the effective and affordable delivery of health care. This conference is designed to take the success that HIGPA has had in bringing buyers and suppliers together in the United States and broaden the audience to include international entities. Further, with the added complexities that result in comparing health care systems from country-to-country, the Global Summit will also provide a unique opportunity for a wide variety of discussion topics.

Summit faculty will include senior health care executives and decision-makers from both the private and public sectors, international and academic health care leaders. Summit symposia include a wide variety of topics, including health care purchasing trends, global partnership opportunities, and e-commerce technology influences.
