Networking

Throughout the year, HIGPA provides many opportunities for extensive interactive networking between group purchasing organizations (GPOs), manufacturers and suppliers.

HIGPA International Expo and National Pharmacy Forum events - One of the key benefits to HIGPA membership is access to a professional network of senior level executives engaged in the health industry and the health care supply chain. HIGPA's International Expo, which includes our annual meeting, educational programming and exposition, provides numerous opportunities for interchange between purchasing representatives and their trading partners. With unparalleled opportunities for manufacturers and vendors of all sizes to interact with GPOs, Expo has become one of the leading health care conferences in the country. In addition to this annual event, HIGPA provides more networking opportunities during the National Pharmacy Forum.

Volunteering - HIGPA offers further opportunities to interact with executives from the country's leading GPOs through volunteering on the Association's Steering Committees for the International Expo and National Pharmacy events. In addition to event committees, HIGPA also offers members the opportunity to serve on committees that focus on goverment relations, public policy, pharmacy, and diversity and innovation. HIGPA is dedicated to representing and advancing the interests of our members, as the only chartered trade association of health care group purchasing organizations. HIGPA serves as the united and leading voice of the health care industry group purchasing supply chain before governmental and non-governmental organizations. We have a proven track record of advancing the interests of our members in the sometimes complicated and confusing climate of Washington, DC.
 

Education

One of the many values of being a member of HIGPA is the quality and quantity of the education content that the Association offers throughout the year. Education is provided through our annual events, research studies, hosted webcasts, and daily eNews.
 

Industry Liaison

Membership in the association also provides the benefits of HIGPA's leadership role in maintaining ongoing and meaningful relationships with other like-minded national trade groups. This type of partnering and collaboration strengthens the association and enhances value to our members.

Access to Information

HIGPA members have access to information that otherwise would not be available to them (research studies, articles, industry information). On HIGPA's web site (www.higpa.org), members have access to information that is not available to the public. HIGPA Members are provided with a username and password in order to access the members only section.
